I struggled with my skin for years and attributed all my skin issues to my extensive pool time as a swimmer. I started reading research studies and discovered that my skin care products were actually the issue.

The products I was using contained questionable ingredients and unnecessary fillers, and I was disheartened by the realization that I had been investing in expensive products department and beauty stores, assuming their safety and efficacy, and it was destroying my skin.

I became a label reader and switched my personal care products, supplements, and other items around my home to clean formulated alternatives, because I realized what I put in my body was just as important as what I put on my skin.

After being laid off during the pandemic, I took the leap of faith to follow my passion and enrolled at The Salon Professional Academy to study esthetics. I finished top in my class and quickly started working at the school and at a spa.

Despite my love for my clients and esthetics, I grew increasingly discontent with the product options available in my work environments. I felt uncomfortable being exposed to chemicals that I had removed from my life over the past decade.

Seeing the need for a green spa space, I decided to start my own business where everything would be clean, clinical & eco-conscious! I believe in healthy living from the inside out to help you achieve healthy, glowing skin!

When I’m not at the spa, you’ll find me swimming laps at the community center, taking yoga and barre classes, walking my dog, or reading a book on my kindle. I have 1 fur baby, Riley, a Golden Retriever Husky Mix

At Skin Sanctuary, we believe that you don’t have to compromise your health to see skin care results. This spa was designed to be a safe place for all your skin care needs.

We are clean, clinical and eco-conscious

  • CLEAN: we use non-toxic products that are free of questionable ingredients and unnecessary fillers. This is true not only of the skin care brands we carry but of the cleaning products we use at the spa. All our products are cruelty-free and meet or exceed European Union product standards.

  • CLINICAL: our skincare lines have been clinically tested by experts for purity and effectiveness to bring you amazing results. The products have 3rd party certifications to verify that the brand claims are accurate.

  • ECO-CONSCIOUS: we consider the environment and it’s inhabitants when selecting products. We use brands that are B Corps, practice sustainable farming techniques, and promote reducing waste and recycling. We also have limited our own plastic waste by using reusable materials and choosing bamboo and other biodegradable materials, when possible!
